S409, flow direction switch, plug-in type

The S409 thermo mass flow direction switch makes it possible to determine the flow direction in an existing pipe network. This switch can be used in compressed air streams and in non-corrosive gases. The sensor head is robust and made entirely of stainless steel. The insertion probe can be easily inserted into an existing pipe via a 1/2" full bore ball valve, under pressure. Flow and flow direction information comes via the 2 "Normally Open" relay contacts. The signal activates/deactivates the S flow meter, depending on the flow direction .
