The S401 flow meter is designed to measure compressed air in a user-friendly and affordable way. The S401 is a thermal mass flow meter, so it is not necessary to set the compressed air pressure and temperature separately to measure the flow. The S401 flow meter is also very suitable for measuring other gases, e.g. nitrogen and other technical gases. The S401 sensor technology guarantees a very fast and accurate measurement. The flowmeter can store two calibration curves, allowing the sensor to be used in two different gases without loss of accuracy. The optional color display shows all measured values, such as flow and total consumption. The display can also be used to manage sensor settings such as pipe diameter, gas type or output settings. The S401 flowmeter offers several signal output options, such as analog and pulse. Alternatively, a MODBUS RTU interface can be used to access all measured values ​​via the digital interface. The S401 flowmeter can be easily installed, without having to depressurize your compressed air system. Also disassembling the flowmeter for calibration, for example, is no problem at all. Various settings such as gas type, flow unit, reference standards can be set at the factory as required. If it is necessary to change the settings on site, the free S4C-FS software for Android phones can be used to wirelessly access the flowmeter settings.
